Kate began practicing as a young teenager growing up in Southern California, initially being drawn to the practice of Hatha Yoga. Her organic Farmer parents encouraged her to explore yoga and Kate began to use it as a stabilizing force in her life. Her yoga mat was a consistent home away from home as she traveled to Brooklyn, Colorado, and finally back to her home in the Bay Area.

With 14 years of personal yoga and meditation practice, she dove into her 200-Hour Vinyasa Teacher Training in Denver, CO and has been teaching ever since. She has a strong and palpable passion for exploring the potential of her own self-growth through the beautiful practice of yoga and brings this passion to her students!

Kate’s classes are mindful, energetic, and challenging. Her vinyasa flow classes are centered around anatomy and a deep connection with the breathe. Kate's teaching is influenced by her studies in Vinyasa, Hatha, Forrest Yoga, and other modalities of self-healing including Yoga Nidra, Reiki, and Soulful Breathwork. She is a 200-RYT, certified to teach Yin Yoga, Kids Yoga, Yoga Nidra, is a Reiki Practitioner, and an apprentice in Soulful Breathwork. When not teaching, Kate can be found hiking, camping, and cooking.
