For Brandon, to teach yoga and to practice yoga are one in the same. There is not a time where he feels more connected than when guiding his students through asana. It all started back in the summer of 2013, when his brother dragged him to his first Power Vinyasa class. Immediately Brandon was hooked, and knew that he needed more of this blissful butt kicking in his life. He joined a local studio in his hometown of Los Angeles, and after a year of practice, completed his 200 hour Power Yoga Teacher Training. He has since then participated in a Hot Yoga teacher training, as well as a number of continuing education programs. Brandon has taught at studios across the Los Angeles and Bay Area, and continues to lead arm balance, back bending, and safe mobility workshops. Expect his class to be a slow burn, with a deep focus on breath, postural alignment, and muscle action cues. When Brandon is not teaching yoga, you can catch him making a mess in the kitchen, watching Top Chef, reading a book, or writing poetry.
