AcroYoga Principles Applied to Yoga Teaching


Add depth and fun to your Yoga teaching with a few tips from AcroYoga teacher Tamara Vodovoz. This workshop will distill the wisdom from AcroYoga that is applicable to yoga teaching to help you feel confident to approach your students space, make physical contact for a hands-on assisting, and teach inversions safely.

We will cover:

  • Group activities that break the ice and build community

  • Thai massage wisdom for hands-on yoga assist

  • Basic principles to introduce partner work in a yoga class

  • Inversions and handstands: training progressions, spotting and partner work

  • Thai massage for Savasana

About Tamara

Tamara began practicing Yoga when she was 17 years old in Colombia. Curious to find creative ways for embodied self expression and joyful connections with others, she found the magical alchemy of AcroYoga. Today she enjoys sharing this practice with people from all walks of life. She believes AcroYoga offers a safe space to fulfill our needs for human contact and feel empowered by trusting and lifting each other.
